You can test me by sending me a sample of two pages of text or two web pages. This is FREE, and you are not obligated to hire me.
No two proofreaders or editors are the same! For this reason, many proofreaders and editors offer this service because we understand that finding a good fit is important.
And if you’re worried about plagiarism, be assured that you are protected by the law, and I acknowledge you as the rights holder (please see my terms).
When you send me your sample, please let me know:
- Which dictionary do you typically use? (Either online or a hard copy is fine.)
- How do you want corrections and comments to be made (e.g. track changes, comments, highlights, bold or listed in an email.)?
- Describe the audience/your avatar/ideal reader.
- Will the audience understand the language and jargon you have used? For example, if you are talking to people who buy boats, do you expect them to understand the terms you use?
- Where will the document appear (e.g. an edited book, an ebook, online, LinkedIn newsletter, an Instagram media post, etc.).
