The purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity of my work with clients and maintain trust.

Definition

A conflict of interest arises when personal interests, relationships, or external activities could compromise professional judgement or obligations.

Policy

  1. Disclosure. I will promptly disclose any potential conflicts to clients or employers.
  2. Impartiality. I will maintain objectivity in all professional activities.
  3. Confidentiality. I respect my client’s confidentiality and will not use privileged information for personal gain.
  4. Competing clients. I will inform clients if I work for a close competitor.
  5. Personal relationships. I will disclose any personal relationships that might influence work decisions.
  6. Financial interests. I will avoid financial interests in clients’ businesses that could affect my impartiality.
  7. Resolution. If an issue is brought to my attention, I will address conflicts promptly, potentially by recusing myself from affected projects if necessary.
